Option 1: Delete Your Account in the App
If you have the Rise Academy app installed, you can delete your account directly:
Open the Rise Academy app and sign in with your email or phone number
Go to Profile → Account Settings
Tap Delete Account
Confirm the deletion when prompted — this action is permanent
Option 2: Request Deletion by Email
You can also request deletion without the app — for example, if you have already uninstalled it:
Email support@riseinstitute.tech with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"
Send the email from the address registered to your account, or include your registered email/phone number so we can verify your identity
We will confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days, then notify you when it is done
What Data Is Deleted
When your deletion request is completed, we permanently remove:
Your account and profile — name, email address, phone number, and profile picture
Course enrollments, enrollment requests, and lesson-by-lesson progress
Quiz attempts, answers, scores, and results
Assignment submissions (files and photos), grades, and instructor feedback
Device, usage, and log data linked to your account
What Data Is Kept & Retention Periods
Some data is retained after account deletion, only where necessary:
Academic and certificate records — certificates already issued remain verifiable through their verification link (showing your name, course, and completion date) so employers can still confirm them. You may ask us to revoke a certificate in your deletion request, and it will be removed as well.
Financial and legal records — payment and invoicing records required by law are kept for up to 7 years, as mandated by applicable tax and accounting regulations
Backups — residual copies in encrypted backups are purged automatically within 90 days of deletion
Deletion requests are completed within 30 days. Retained records listed above are kept only for the stated periods and are never used for any other purpose.
